In the Studio: Same Girls

Same Girls, Oakland-based guitar-driven indie pop group, have been working out of Different Fur for the past few months on their forthcoming mixtape. The group includes Taifa Nia of OCD and Hannah Valente of The She's, both of which have recorded at DF.  Intern-turned Text Me Records-engineer Justin Kay is engineering and mixing.

The mixtape is expected to be released before the end of the year in time for Kwanza.
