A-1 Drops The Thurl Tape

September 7th, 2012  |  Published in Featured, random

Adam Rashid Traore, aka A-1, has been described as San Francisco’s next up and coming rapper, but if the The Thurl Tape is any indication, it won’t be long before A-1 establishes himself as one of the best to come out of the Bay Area. Released this week, the acronymic title, The Thurl Tape (Think Hustle Understand Really Live) appropriately describes A-1’s approach to his lyrics, performance, and music. Mastered by Jorge Hernandez, the 14-track album is a complete representation of his San Francisco roots and capabilities as an artist. As with all of A-1’s music, the album can be downloaded for free here.

To catch A-1 live, peep his upcoming tour dates with headliners Roach Gigz and Main Attrakionz here.
