San Jose band, The Trims, have a new 5 track EP out, offering fans and listeners alike, a refreshing take on the indie, alternative genre. With their latest EP, Bright Lights City, already getting played on Live 105, The Trims have matured their sound for uptempo, edgier music. Tracked and mixed by Nic Pope, the songs “3am” and “Friend to Follow” are only a sampling of lead singer’s Gabriel Maciel’s powerful voice over the equally strong instrumentals from the band.
