This Friday, the Independent will host some of the best Americana music in Northern California. The smooth sounds of the pedal guitar and vocals from Easy Leaves‘ Sage Fifield and Kevin Carducci create a warm, carefree mood similar to bands such as The Avett Brothers or Sean Hayes. Their album, American Times, was released on iTunes earlier this month and features “Honky Tonk Magic” and “Fool On a String.” Singer songwriter, Alison Harris will perform her superbly sweet folk songs alongside her band, The Barn Owls. With a timeless quality to her voice, Harris’ music has an effortless charm that will captivate listeners. Also performing are T.V.
