Lilac’s “Go Your Own Way” Featured in Spinner

Premiering their single in epic fashion, indie dream/grunge band, Lilac, debutes their single “Go Your Own Way” in Spinner. Trading vocals, singers Will Ivy and Kirsten Knick describe the uncomfortable stage of a relationship that’s comprised of nothing but meaningless conversations. Knick states, “There’s no point in dragging a friendship out with small talk. Once it’s over you should go your own way.” With a cheery, uptempo melody, you almost don’t realize the song is essentially about getting dumped. Produced by Patrick Brown with engineering by Jorge Hernandez and mastering by John Greenham.
