There’s a certain honesty and smooth gospel groove that can be heard when listening to the folk, Americana roots band, The Easy Leaves. Formed by Sage Fifield and Kevin Carducci, this duo from Sonoma County are as diverse as they are talented. The song “Fool on a String” is reminiscent to the syncopated rhythm of The Black Keys while “For the Darkness” is a sweet, Americana tinged, acoustic gem that captures their songwriting and vocal capabilities.
