Taking place each Memorial Day weekend, this year’s SF Popfest features 14 bands over the 3 day holiday weekend. One of the bands, Stockton pop rock foursome, Surf Club will perform at 9:15pm, amongst Kids on a Crime Sprees, Manatee, and many others. With interviews in both The Bay Guardian and The Bay Bridged, both highlight Surf Club’s “tidal wave tempos” and carefree, sunny, beach music. With DJs from Shine On, the Indiepop dance party will kick off at 4pm and $10 tickets can be purchased at the door.
