Filmed by Yours Truly and MTV Hive at SXSW, Nicolas Jaar perfoms an exclusive version of “Why Didn’t You Save Me” from his Don’t Break My Love EP released last November. As part of the “In My Room” series, the video (sound by Patrick Brown) also features Will Epstein and Dave Harrington on saxophone and guitar, as they aide and showcase Jaar’s haunting, experimental electronic music. Incorporating various styles and moods into his live improvisational performances, the video demonstrates the passion and desire to make listeners think about his music.
