Yours Truly launches label Love Letters Ink

Different Fur friends, Yours Truly have decided to take the leap and branch off from their successful local based website and launch a promising new record label. Aptly named Love Letters Ink, the first release will be the Wuz Here Sessions, a collab between Big K.R.I.T. and Grillade. Although available in digital format, it will also have a limited imprinting on vinyl which includes two hand written letters from the artists themselves as well as hand crafted artwork by Yours Truly’s in-house Art Director. Part of the proceeds will be going towards the Roots of Music Foundation, a program dedicated to music programs for youth in New Orleans. You can buy it and preview a track here. The following release will be the upcoming single from LA avant-garde multimedia singer songwriter Nite Jewel, due out in March.

Yours Truly has gone through great amount of successes in the past; working with top artists and up and coming buzz bands, all while shining a bright light on our prominent local acts. From their start they’ve gone on all to do it all, from producing beer campaigns syndicated for Facebook and Virgin America flights to producing several video series such as Pitchfork.tv’s “Tunnelvision” series as well as “Cut from a Different Fur” – a series of music performances done right here in the studio. In addition to that series, Different Fur has been the host to several Yours Truly Presents videos including Chromeo and Toro y Moi.

Love Letters Ink is clearly the next step for Yours Truly and we’re very excited to see what is in store for the label.
